President, Mobility and Collaboration Services, Tata Communications, Anthony Bartolo Speaks on Global Collaboration

At this year’s 3rd Annual CIO Leaders Summit Hong Kong, President, Mobility and Collaboration Services at Tata Communications, Andrew Bartolo spoke on Global Collaboration: Key Considerations for Deploying YOUR Future-Proof Unified Communications and Mobility. Andrew spoke on today’s dynamic business environment that CIOs face. Andrew highlighted the intense pressure on CIOs to deliver collaboration tools that fulfil the mobility needs of internal customers and stakeholders. It was a rare opportunity for some of Asia’s top IT leaders to engage with Andrew as he examined the key challenges companies face in the development of collaboration tools. He also uncovered how unifies communications and mobility strategies can be effectively deployed on a global scale.

 

As a senior leader with a strong record for success in bringing new technology solutions to market, Andrew has served in his current role for over three years. As the President of Mobility and Collaboration at Tata Group, Anthony is responsible for the strategy, product offering and development of the Mobility and Unified Communications services.

 

Anthony has also held senior executive positions at Avaya and was instrumental in heading the largest pipeline of products in the company’s history between fiscal 2010 through 2012, with 130 new offerings across an extensive portfolio. Prior to his role at Avaya, Anthony was CEO of Skyrider, Inc. Anthony was also Vice President and General Manager at Symbol Technologies (not Motorola), where he was responsible for both the Wireless Infrastructure and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) divisions.
At Avaya, Anthony was instrumental in fostering the largest pipeline of products in the company’s history between fiscal 2010 through 2012, with 130 new offering across a broad portfolio. He led the $2B+ Unified Communications Business Unit after successfully leading both the Small and Medium Enterprise Business Unit and Contact Center Business Units for Avaya. Anthony joined Avaya after serving as President and CEO of Skyrider, Inc. Also holding positions at Nortel Networks and has appeared on BBC, CNBC and ChannelNews Asia.
