Synopsis and overview of the session

Just like all marketing professionals were impacted by COVID 19 with in-person events scrapped off the calendars, so was Tania Mushtaq and her team.  With aggressive expansion goals across Asia and Japan, Tania was tasked to deliver 40% revenue from marketing across APJ with increased YoY business revenue targets.  Since regional marketing heavily relied on in-person events especially in Asia and Japan, it was time to become creative and deliver a full digital strategy that would deliver the ROI Boomi’s marketing team needed.  This required creative thinking and deep analysis of what the target audience needed to hear, their changing content consumption patterns, challenges and influencers to deliver targeted messages for higher engagement.

Tania collaborated with Janine Pares from Think Smart Marketing to deliver several customer focused messages that resulted in over 400% attainment to pipeline and they will share the secrets to achieving this success.

Focus Network, in partnership with Boomi, will bring together 20 marketing leaders from within the technology space to network, share ideas and openly discuss different approaches to ways of delivering a strong ROI by understanding the voice of the customer.

Dell- Boomi - Tania Mushtaq

Tania Mushtaq – Head of Marketing – Asia Pacific and Japan, Boomi, A Dell Technologies Business

Tania Mushtaq is the Head of Marketing for Asia Pacific and Japan at Boomi, a Dell Technologies business, where she is responsible for regional marketing and communications strategy to drive growth.

For the past five years, Tania has been instrumental in streamlining operations, creating awareness, driving demand, and building marketing and social media campaigns that contributed to over 50% of regional revenue year-over-year. She also developed a world class customer advocacy and reference program – the strongest of its kind across Boomi globally. Her extensive experience in PR has also resulted in Boomi securing and maintaining #1 Share of Voice in the region for the past five years.

Tania has over 20 years’ experience in sales, marketing, content development, public relations, change management, coaching and mentoring. She is on the steering committee of Dell Technologies’ Women in Action initiative and has recently taken up a volunteer CMO role with Street Industries, a not for profit. Tania is also on the judging panel for Asia Content Marketing Association (ACMA) and a public speaker. Prior to joining Dell Technologies, Tania was the Marketing Director Asia Pacific for Good Technology (a Blackberry company) and had PR, marketing and change management roles with Encompass Corporation, WatchGuard Technologies, Westpac and Commonwealth Bank.

Tania has an MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management (Macquarie University).

Luke founded his Professional Master of Ceremonies business on 3 key principles; Service, Preparation & Delivery. Based upon these pillars he partners with clients across the country to help grow their events and engage their client bases while providing exceptional value to event partners and sponsors.

He is passionate about helping others to develop their communication skills and works with school children delivering public speaking training plus Luke is a Senior Risk Professional with over 18 years banking & finance industry experience. With an MBA from the University of Technology, Sydney Luke and loves finding solutions to problems, challenging the status quo and helping teams to plan & execute winning strategies.

Luke lives with his family in Sydney and loves trail running, travelling, motorsports and spending time with his wife and their 3 children.
