Synopsis and overview of the session

Human transformation is essential for digital transformation. This fact has never been more apparent than in this past pandemic-stricken year when global organisations had to shift their business models drastically with little to no notice. Some enterprises pivoted to a remote environment well; some did not. The key differentiator seems to be the efficient flow of people, process, and automation, resulting in a positive culture in difficult times. DevOps is no longer a question of if organisations need it or not, but rather a question of when to adopt it.

The 2021 Upskilling: Enterprise DevOps Skills Report, the third annual upskilling report produced by DevOps Institute, surveyed more than 2,000 professionals globally to identify which skills are considered critical to DevOps and digital transformation. The report is intended to help business and technology leaders, teams and individuals understand which skills are “must haves” for DevOps across roles, regions, and perspectives, and optimise their DevOps skill portfolio to enable organisations and individuals to transform software and service delivery.

This exclusive executive roundtable lunch will focus on key findings from this report as it relates to Upskilling Enterprise DevOps and will provide answers to critical questions in this area.

Focus Network in partnership with HCL Software, will be bringing leading IT security executives to discuss the topic of upskilling enterprise DevOps, and how the pandemic has changed the required skillsets for the “Humans of DevOps” with a handful of senior leaders in an informal, virtual roundtable event setting from which you will emerge with new strategies and solutions you can immediately put to work.
