Matt Smith, CEO, MyPass Global

Matt founded MyPass Global in 2013 to address significant inefficiencies in traditional workforce management processes he experienced in high-risk environments. Matt spearheaded the implementation of MyPass in leading companies including BHP, Woodside Energy, Shell, and Programmed that resulted in reduced costs, lower injury frequency rates and productivity gains. Under Matt’s leadership, MyPass has grown to a global business with presence in Australia, North America, and Chile. MyPass is trusted by over 1,300 companies to manage 110,000+ workers globally.
Prior to founding MyPass, Matt was the General Manager of Programmed, a global staffing and maintenance services company. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Commerce from the University of Auckland.
