Synopsis and overview of the session

Spending on public cloud services continues to rise unabated, with end-user spending set to top $679B in 2024 and exceed $1T in 2027. But with many business leads feeling they’ve yet to reap substantial value from their cloud investments, and eight of the top ten cloud gripes related to costs, where did the love go? And how can faith be restored in your cloud solutions?

Whether its public, private, hybrid, or multi, there’s no doubt the contemporary cloud is a complex place to live. So exactly how do you navigate its challenges, opportunities and complexities?

Focus Network in partnership with Brennan & Nutanix invite you to join us in what promises to be a fascinating roundtable as we explore the answers:

  • The full cloud journey. Taking a holistic approach to your cloud investment and assessing your cloud maturity.
  • Building a Secure and Trusted Organisation: Strategies for enhancing security and compliance, navigating the complexities of privacy laws, and building trust in AI systems.
  • Centering the edge. Getting the best out of cloud environments operating at the edge.
  • Multi vs Hybrid Cloud. What’s the difference between the two and when does a dual vendor strategy make the most sense?
  • Restoring cloud faith. Resolving the tension between investment and outcomes.
  • Creating a Data-Driven Culture: Tactics for cultivating an organisational mindset that values data-driven insights and decision-making, enabling a seamless transition to more sophisticated AI applications.
  • Security is essential. Exploring the role that security plays when it comes to cloud challenges, opportunities, and complexities.
  • Optimising Costs and Operational Effectiveness: Leveraging AI and automation for cost efficiency and improved operational workflows, particularly in a hybrid work setting.
