Synopsis and overview of the session

As businesses adapt to the cloud and hybrid work models, Infrastructure and Operations leaders face the critical challenge of modernising their networks. The traditional reliance on technologies such as MPLS and legacy web proxies is increasingly insufficient to meet the demands of today’s dynamic, distributed environments. The move towards solutions like SD-WAN and BWAN offers promising alternatives, but they require careful integration and re-architecting of existing infrastructures.

This executive lunch roundtable will delve into the complexities of transitioning to a modern network architecture that not only supports hybrid work but also enhances performance, security, and visibility. The discussion will emphasize the shift from legacy MPLS to agile SD-WAN and BWAN solutions, exploring how these technologies can complement a holistic strategy that reduces costs and improves scalability.

This roundtable aims to equip IT leaders with a deep understanding of how to leverage SD-WAN, BWAN, and SASE technologies to drive network modernisation, enabling faster, more secure, and more agile IT operations.

Focus Network, in partnership with Netskope invites you to join this upcoming lunch, where we will bring together a group of leading Networking, Infrastructure and Operational executives and learn more around:

    Key Discussion Points:

    1. Why traditional MPLS networks struggle in the cloud era and how SD-WAN and BWAN can offer greater flexibility, performance, and cost efficiency.
    2. Strategies for re-architecting networks to support cloud and hybrid work environments, including best practices for deploying SD-WAN and BWAN.
    3. How the Netskope One platform provides a converged security and networking solution that meets modern access, security, visibility, performance, and speed requirements.
    4. Case studies of organisations that have successfully moved from legacy networks to modern, agile infrastructures using SD-WAN, BWAN, and Netskope’s solutions.
    5. Peer insights and collaboration from other VPs of IT Operations and Heads of Networking to share their experiences, challenges, and strategies for navigating the journey to the network of tomorrow.
