In life there is always two choices and where this takes you depends on your choice. Change is good and should be embraced, which is what I’ve recently done. Pivoting to cyber security, I now help to build a better security culture and am an advocate in improving cyber safety.

I thrive in challenging and agile environments and believe a collaborative work culture and effective project management are founded in great story telling. Involvement in multiple acquisitions gives me an operational mindset when applying key skill sets to business development. I’m admired for leadership, innovative, budgeting, project management, building relationships, stakeholder engagement and forward planning.

Experienced Cyber Security Consultant with a demonstrated history of working in professional services. Skilled in Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) assessments; Cyber Forensics investigations, e-Discovery, Project Management and Stakeholder Management, with experience across a variety of industries including State and Federal Government; Energy, Utilities and Mining (EUM), Banking and Finance; Retail and Consumer goods.

Salvatore started his career at Accenture, global technology consulting company, working in several projects with increasing responsibility in Project Delivery and Technology Archiecture, for Public Sector, Healthcare, Human Services and Postal services, in Italy and Saudi Arabia. Then he moved to ADR, the company which manages the Airports in the Rome Metropolitan Area, taking the responsibility of the IT Architecture and Innovation function. Finally, he moved to Amplifon, global leader in hearing aid services, first taking the responsibility of the Global Enterprise Architecture, and then joining the Australia market to lead the IT transformation and business integration. Father of a boy, he enjoys running and playing golf.

Abdullah Muhammad is the Cyber Defence Manager at Bupa Asia Pacific, bringing a wealth of experience with 18 years in the technology industry and dedicated his career to cybersecurity seven years ago. Abdullah holds a Master’s degree in Cyber Security and is a certified CISSP and CISM professional. In his current role, he focuses on safeguarding the organization against emerging cyber threats and enhancing its defensive capabilities.

With a keen interest in the intersection of technology and security, Abdullah is particularly passionate about the implications of generative AI on cybersecurity. He aims to share his insights on how this rapidly evolving technology will impact both offensive and defensive cyber strategies. This will be his first time presenting at a conference, where he hopes to contribute to the broader discussion and exchange ideas with fellow cybersecurity professionals.

Jamie Rossato, has served in CISO roles for over a decade across a range of industries. He has served as a non-executive director at the Information Security Forum – a not-for-profit dealing with information security and risk management solutions and currently serves on the board advisory panel of the Australian Information Security Association. He has also served on academic panels, most notably the development of the Certificate IV in Cybersecurity curriculum, now taught across most Australian states.

Kurt is an internationally renowned technology executive with over 25 years’ experience in the industry. He is currently the Chief Digital and Information Officer at Built where he is spearheading a revolution in digital first construction. Kurt has recently joined Built after being the Chief Technology and Innovation Officer at Transport for New South Wales led the delivery of a AU$1bn portfolio of capital technology and digital initiatives in support of the Australia’s largest-ever investment in transport infrastructure ($72.3bn over 4 years). Kurt has been responsible for transforming the digital transport experience for the citizens of New South Wales delivering Opal, the first contactless transport payments system in the southern hemisphere, and several world first digital transport products and services. In 2020 Kurt was awarded with ‘Best Technology Project in Australia’, in 2023 was featured in the ‘Top 50 Global government innovators list’, in 2024 was awarded for leading the ‘World’s Best Digital Transport Agency’, before being named as ‘Number 1 CIO in Australia for 2024’ in the CIO50.

Kurt has worked in a number of senior technology roles internationally and domestically in both the private and public sector. Kurt was formerly an Army officer where he served in Iraq, Afghanistan, Solomon Islands and Indonesia, prior to working for Deloitte in business and technology transformation. From there Kurt worked with ASX listed infrastructure firms Leighton Group and Lendlease where he led large, multi-national technology teams.
