After working for 16 years for one of the countries largest listed commercial property owners, I am still on a learning path.

I have been responsible for developing, growing, and implementing a comprehensive safety system that is required for property development, maintenance work and capital projects.

I have developed two software systems that assist 350 contractors and near 6000 workers in safe work practices and implemented numerous high risk work procedures, in conjunction with FENZ, Lockton Insurance, NZI, QBE and ACC, worked with and chaired industry working groups, and assisted PwC with Safety Systems ‘ health check’ audits.

I have the responsibility for Building Compliance, and we are one of the only listed companies that control and produce our own building warrants across our portfolio.

I have a passion for finding a better way a simpler way, I don’t buy in to ‘best practice’ but champion ‘good practice’ best practice suggest we can’t do better, In my opinion that’s a dangerous concept.

Personally, I am involved with Greame Dingle Foundation’s Project K, an initiative that assists young people to locate their potential and Mankind Project a similar program for adults.

I am the proud father of a Police Officer, a career Firefighter, and a Paramedic.
