Director of Public Safety/Chief of Police, Xavier University
I’m a retired Agent and Supervisory Special Agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. After 22 years of service, I continue serving a smaller community as the Director of Public Safety and Chief of Police for Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. I am certified as an Adjunct Faculty trainer for the FBI Academy in multiple disciplines and I’m currently an adjunct faculty for the University of Cincinnati. My law enforcement instruction has focused many years on Critical Incident Management, Crisis Response, Continuity of Operations, Threat Assessment, Risk Management, Active Aggressor/Shooter preparedness, Crime Scene Management, Public/Private partnerships, and Human Resource management. I have served domestically and internationally in a variety of instruction and investigative roles including the International Law Enforcement Academy in Gaborone, Botswana and Islamabad, Pakistan among others.
