Ms. Cynthia Crespo-Bonaparte is the Safety Manager of the Hospital and Clinical Safety Program for the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Cynthia has over 20 years of experience in health & safety and 30 years in mental health. She holds master’s degrees in Criminal Justice and Industrial Engineering and is currently pursuing a doctorate in Health Promotion and Health Education at the University of Texas School of Public Health. Cynthia is also a Certified Healthcare Safety Professional, Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, and Chair of the Environment of Care and Emergency Management Committee. She has participated in nine Joint Commission certification surveys.
