Michael Hussey (MEng, MBA) is the Global Head of HSE at BlueScope, the international steel products and processing company with over 16,500 employees and operations in 15 countries. Michael and his team are responsible for providing HSE strategic direction and governance for BlueScope, and have reporting lines through to both the Executive Leadership Team and the Health, Safety, Environment & Community Committee of the BlueScope Board of Directors.

Michael has worked for BlueScope for over 30 years, predominantly in operational and site leadership. Aside from working across multiple location in Australia, Michael has also worked in both China and New Zealand for extended periods. His experience leads to a passion to eliminate life-changing injuries across all sites and operations.
