Rajat Malhotra is a distinguished technologist with over 25 years of experience in the industry with a proven track record of success in various leadership roles. Currently, he is the CTO of GXS Bank, a digital bank backed by Grab and Singtel in Singapore. At GXS, Rajat has led the development of innovative products such as Saving Pockets, a savings account, and FlexiLoan, a lending offering, from conception to launch.

Prior to joining GXS, Rajat held several leadership positions, including Head of Engineering at Grab, CTO at Milvik, and Director of Engineering at Twitter. During his tenure at GFin, the fintech arm of Grab, Rajat led the engineering teams responsible for building insurance, wealth management, and payment infrastructure.

Rajat’s contributions to the industry go beyond his role at GXS, as he is also a member of the steering committee of the Asian Institute of Digital Finance and has also been an entrepreneur and mentored multiple start-ups.
