Eric Wong is a seasoned cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Head of IT Security and the Director of Cyber Intelligence, Engineering, and Architecture at Synapxe, Singapore’s national HealthTech agency. With extensive experience in the field, Eric oversees a wide range of critical responsibilities including security monitoring, incident response, digital forensics, threat intelligence, red teaming, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, security architecture, and security operations.

Eric holds several prestigious certifications including the GIAC Security Expert (GSE), CISSP, and other professional cybersecurity credentials. His academic achievements include a Master of Science (Distinction) in Computer Science (Information Assurance) from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School and a Master of Science in Defence Technology & Systems from the National University of Singapore, complemented by completion of the CSA-SMU Cybersecurity Strategic Leadership Programme.

Beyond his professional and academic pursuits, Eric is deeply engaged in the cybersecurity community. He serves as the Vice President of the ISC2 Singapore Chapter and is recognised as an AiSP Validated Information Security Professional.
