Nima Baiati is the global executive leading Lenovo’s cybersecurity portfolio and solutions (i.e. ThinkShield). In his role he has P&L responsibility for Lenovo’s security solutions and services business as well as leading security innovation and platform, hardware and below-OS security, globally, at Lenovo. In 2023 he established Lenovo’s first Cybersecurity Innovation Centre based in Israel. Prior to joining Lenovo, Nima led product Management and corporate Development for a leading security company where he successfully brought to market several new products to address below-OS level security. Nima also led the global go-to-market strategy organization for enterprise security at Symantec. He’s worked in several Silicon Valley start-ups in product and business development roles. Nima began his career in finance and banking at Morgan Stanley. He is currently actively involved in advising numerous venture capital firms and start-ups both in Silicon Valley and in Israel. Nima earned his BSc. from the University of San Francisco and his MBA from Cornell University. He’s also completed advanced coursework in Digital Transformation from Cambridge University and Counter Terrorism from Georgetown University. He holds numerous certifications ranging from Certified Ethical Hacker, AWS, CIPP/E-GDPR and Cloud Security. Most recently he is the recipient of the 2023 Fortress Cyber Security Award for Leadership and selected as a finalist for the 2023 SC Awards as Innovator of the Year. Nima sits on the Board of Directors for the FIDO Alliance, serves on several Organising Committees of the European Internet Forum as well as engagement with several philanthropic ventures.
