Geert Warlop is the Chief Data Officer and Chief Technology Officer of BTS Group Thailand at BTS Group Holdings Public Company Limited. He has over 25 years of experience in data, digital, FinTech, telecom, technology strategy business development, technology sourcing, planning, and implementation. He is a dynamic professional with solid experience managing multi-disciplined teams in high profile operations, engineering, IT, and business projects. Geert is a flexible, hands-on Roll-out manager, from planning, sourcing, implementation, decision making to launch and post-launch evaluation. As an all-round commercial entrepreneur, he possesses excellent marketing, product, project, and program skills. He is self-motivated, methodical, a very highly dedicated professional determined to complete every project successfully before the given timeframe and budget. Geert is an effective communicator who can convey and present ideas concisely at management and board level. He is proven to work in multicultural, quick-changing environments in Asia. Geert’s specialties include data, digitalization, startup, FinTech, cross-functional, strategy, regulatory, technology, marketing, people and program management, and blockchain. Before joining BTS Group Holdings Public Company Limited, Geert Warlop was the CEO of Inception Technology Co., Ltd., where he established nine Inception companies across Asia and four Inception Operations with a total of 130 staff. He also served as the Country Manager of TrueMoney Indonesia and Chief Operating Officer for TrueMoney International at True Corporation Thailand.
