Viren has over 30 years of experience in leading global and diverse teams at Standard Chartered Bank (SCB), McAfee, UBS and KPMG with an initial and robust foundation in developing corporate and consumer banking applications at Citibank.

During the last four years, as CISO for SC Ventures, he focused on building effective technology and cyber resilience and demonstrating progressive maturity for innovative Fintech ventures across Asia and EMEA. Viren’s strength is in his technical skills and experience, along with a keen sense of the implications of emerging technologies (Hybrid clouds, Supply Chains, Predictive and Gen AI, Institutional Digital Assets), in an ever-changing threat landscape, accelerated by cyber- crime, espionage, terrorism, and warfare.
Viren has also delivered lectures on cyber, risk, and AI at universities in Singapore, and is a regular speaker at conferences.
