May Yap is Jabil’s Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Senior Vice President. Splitting her time between USA and Singapore, she oversees IT operations worldwide across over 100 Jabil sites.
She spearheads strategic enterprise-wide digital transformation programs aligned with the company’s digital factory ambitions. Backed by deep-rooted leadership experience across IT management, operations, governance, and talent strategies, May is passionate about establishing efficiencies between Information, Engineering, and Operation technologies to create an agile, innovative, and resilient organisation.
May’s work is well recognised in the industry and worldwide. She is an honoree on Forbes’ inaugural CIO Next list. In 2021, May was recognised as IDC’s Asia Pacific and Singapore CIO of the Year and received AMCHAM Singapore’s HERo Awards for advancing women leaders at Jabil.
